Description
Westhorpe is a casual, test day and social gathering on a fresh water ski lake. The lake is otherwise not open to the general public for running boats on. This event is ideal for beginners, untried boats and is a great chance to see if all that work over winter was a good idea.

Event Classification
NOVICE - An event on lake water where there is no tide or flow and little likelihood of large waves. In the event of an emergency/breakdown, you would signal for assistance, paddle/row or drift ashore. Ideal for inexperienced beginners, families or untried boats or engines.
