If anyone is interested please let me know via PM & I will pass on the contact details. As I am clearing out this workshop do you know any takers for my Evinrude Model 8008 Storm Boat motor from 1943. I found this partly dismantled in a garage and understood that it had not run since WWII. There were a few parts missing but looking inside the bores etc it appeared as new. I bought a second engine complete but in rougher condition and got all the missing parts. I rewired the ignition, thoroughly cleaned the fuel system, gearbox and everything that moves and sure enough it started and ran perfectly for about 15 mins. Since then it has been sitting on a stand waiting for a suitable hull.
If you know any enthusiasts please let me know.

Any takers for an Evinrude Stormboat motor??
I recently bought a 1961 Merc 350 & the guy selling has a storm boat motor for sale, see below:
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!
