Wanted - Merc 300/400 lower unit

I would like to get hold of another lower unit that I could modify and make into a go-faster one. (Unless of course anyone has a 30H / 55H tower and gearbox they don't want!) If anyone knows of a circa 1960 / '61 scrapper white Merc please let me know - it must be the non thru-hub exhaust type. Any condition considered.

I will then attempt to run Thunderbolt III red side up!

Have you tried Higham? They're very expensive for used parts though (3x autobox 22/25hp Mercs in disrepair offered to for 800 quid..), so it is more likely to prove cheaper to bring in something from the states.
