The joys of boat jumbles..

Post by Rapier »

Went to the Portsmouth jumble on Sunday, as unsual lots of bargain classic boat bits to be had, absolutely packed despite the rain. Was just about to leave when I spied a white merc prop buried in a pile of old props. It turned out to be a LHR Merc slinky prop, NOS, but paint battered from years of being chucked around dealer stock bins. Serial number shows it to be a MK28, Mk28A, 200 and 250, 11 pitch. 10 quid to you sir...I did come home with a smile.
Fasten bra straps and remove dentures...
