Just got my new [nos] Evinrude, coils from a guy in Cyprus very good prices and service, he on ebay, and no import tax or vat to pay

Yes, that chap in Cyprus seems to have loads of good stock doesn't he.
And as you say, no import tax and low postage costs.
I'm planning to order some Johnson/Evinrude parts from him.
