Steering adjustment

Post by mad millie »

I am just fitting a yamaha 30 to the back of my broom Saturn but when on full lock one way it touches the splash well but not the other! I've tried moving the tube on the outboard and bending the steering rod but it still touches. :grrr:
Does the engine need to be dead central on the transom because moving it might help! Other than that I am of ideas :hmmm:

You might have the wrong link arm maybe an adjustable one would sort it out.
