Hi John, nice to have you back. I don't recognise this one as a Fletcher or Shakespeare. Has shades of Welsh Power Boat, but otherwise haven't clue. Odd trailer too, so may be european?

Trailer looks like a converted Caravan chassis, I'm not joking, there is one down here very much like it.

Hi Rapier.. :)

yes se7en correct, it is a caravan trailer.. :)
I brought this about a year ago, as I was unable to complete restoration of my old shaky skiman..
Did try this one in Newhaven last august, but that was the only time it's been on the water..

Found a great campsite with a slip, on the river Frome at Wareham, and a back entrance into Poole Harbour.. So hoping to go down there this coming weekend and get some time on the water..

This boat is in need or some work I think, will post more pics later.. but the transom area looks old and tired..

I use towergate for my insurance for that reason, I have no hull number, make or model but they will do a policy that will cover a runabout/day boat.

Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!
