Albatross Bow Pennants - the latest

Post by Sea-Jay »

Hi everyone,

Sorry about the delay in getting the details together, I have been away both on holiday and working.

I have now got the details:

The flag maker is by appointment to the Royal Family and MoD and makes the standards which fly over royal palaces!

I have based the design and colour on the image sent to me by Rod Champkin (see below)

The quotes I have are for MoD grade polyester fabric of 2 types, "proper woven bunting" (Fabric A) and kitted polyester (Fabric B).

There are 2 types of pennant offered - single thickness fabric with "miror image" printing (Type A) and double thickness printed the same on each side (Type B)

The prices as quoted to me are as follows (all include VAT)

Fabric B Type A £8
Fabric B Type B £11.50

Fabric A Type A £11.50
Fabric A Type B £17.20

There is an initial artwork setup fee of £15 + VAT and minimum off of any type is 20

My instincts are to go for the best one, proper bunting, double sided (Fabric A, Type B)

I do not want to make any money out of these, just cover my costs so if we add £3.5 to the above prices it should cover the artwork and postage

I hope this is not too confusing please let me know your views

Chris

Hi Guys,

Been a bit out of touch lately, so I'm trying to catch up.

When I get back from roaring around Lake Yale (best speed so far 46 mph, but I'm working on it...), 3rd week of May, I'll sort out a supply of matching aluminum flagmasts to the original pattern...watch this space.
