Itchin and Scratchin run

Post by Rapier »

It's that time again...too much time sitting at a desk; not enough in the arms of a good boat.

Possible run either Sat 15th or Sat 29th October.

Sat 15 October 2011 LW 05:50 1.0m HW 12:09 4.4m LW 18:06 1.1m

Sat 29 October 2011 LW 05:41 0.5m HW 11:59 4.9m LW 18:05 0.5m

More detail here:-

All welcome.

I can do the 29th but have family staying on the 15th.
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!

I can do 29th but not 15th.

Jill and I can offer tea etc at Hythe for entrants. Also very good slip at Hythe (plus fully equipped workshop....!!)

Great news Al, Mike T called today to say he couldn't make Ivy Lake, but this was the next best thing.

John, tea offer gratefully accepted but wouldn't you rather we pick you up en-route? Am sure there will be seats, but cannot guarantee dry ones...

Numbers thus far are:-

Scandal
Alacrity
Bywater / Se7en combo
Mike T
Petrolhead
Rapier

but with apologies from the Pevensey Bay Pearly Miss Fleet.

Around 9h00-09h30 at launch site...

I will have room for some if not all of you lunatics :woo: I am in the Broom though so you made need to visit a chiropractor afterwards & your kidneys may bleed for a few days . . .

John - if you don't join us on the water what about meeting up for lunch & a :drink: with us at the Jolly Sailor? Would be nice to see you both. Be warned though, your namesake that hails from deepest darkest Essex will be there. :hmmm: :tumbleweed:

Hello Grant

There's always a bit of space for you on my old boat. Andy wise is coming along but that leaves two of the best seats available.
