CMBA Handed Decals - which way?

Just a bit of fun here - and a chance to test the voting system...

So should they point forwards or backwards?

Spanner in the works; either way, depends on what the best match is to the bow and stern / transom shape.
Fasten bra straps and remove dentures...

:hmmm: Surely it is a flag (pennant) - & you would have to be going pretty quick astern (Italian Navy? :o ;) ) to make it point fwd! No, has to be pointing to the stern for me. :D

Good to see so many folk at Basildon yesterday, shame Rapier didn't organise the weather.
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!

I think convention has it that an image of a flag is printed to show it with the hoist to the left, which would normally correspond with looking at the port side of a boat. Likewise, tradition says that an image of a flag on the starboard side of a boat would have the hoist forward, so an ensign then appears the wrong way round. I reckon the CMBA pennant sticker should have the hoist forward, so it points to the stern as if it's flying.

ps Robin - when making sarky comments about Nick's boat, do remember it ain't Nick's boat any more!!! :x
