I saw this one displayed and for sale at Beale Park last year - was built by a young boatbuilder as part of his course. It's beautifully built, but the paint and varnish is not what it should be IMO. The young man who built it was keen to sell, so it's priced way below the 6K asking at Beale. It's engineless but I think the bearers are set up for V8 power.

I had a look at ken's boat very good looking boat too,Not to sure about the outboard might look better with a classic engine,"food for thought" although I do like the look of the back of the cracker box.

I don't think I will have the nerve to take this above 60mph :wot: In the 60s it had a top speed of 100mph with a chrysler hemi in it so I would say with the new nitro engines they do move :o

It was a bit tight trying to bend and twist the chine logs and sheer clamps so I had to it laminations.Starting to look boat shaped now :wot:
