I agree, it's been hard graft for you and the result is great. Look forward to reports / vids (please) of the test run.

Incredible job :thumbsup: looks amazing and I'm sure even better on the water!
Can't wait to see some vids or more pics, hope all goes well and don't forget the champagne :drink:

Well not champagne but I did have a little something saved for the occasion :D

The launch went well and the boat ran great up to 40 MPH then she started proposing so I may have to add a few wedges to act as trim tabs, she sat well in the water and level with my water line "shame it was the top of my waterline" :D I will try and get a video up later.

Looks lovely - let me know what trim tabs you use. Have the same porpoising problem with the Simmonds at speed.

Simmonds fitted from new with what, I believe, is the only running factory marinised Daimler 2.5 litre V8 (as fitted to the Daimler SP 250) in the UK. Please let me know if you find another! Believed to be Norman Buckley's race boat.

Yep the Rascal I did think of building one and use up one of my old merc's you never know I still might :chuffed:
