My dad found a wee photo of the "first" boat, the pic is 40mmx30mm yes it is small, so I scan it & enlarged it.
He built "Miss Jane" in 1937/8 & the pic was taken around 1950 at Groomsport (we think), my dad, my late mum & aunt are in the pic.I also have his original copy of the book "The Motor Boat Manual" from 1936 which has on the inside blank pages his "long hand" calculations for working out the engine & prop size, the engine fitted was a Ford 15hp, he used the cruiser off the Co Down coast.
