Albatross help

Post by DJM71 »

Good day everyone.

First post, so please be gentle.

I recently purchased a house and in the barn is an Albatross boat, which has been identified on another forum as a Series Sport.

The boat belongs to the lady who owned the house before me, and I undertook to help sell it for her.

It's obviously a project boat, and it doesn't have an engine. As a project however, it would appear to be a 'reasonable starting point'.

Any inputs on best place to advertise it, value range etc., would be greatly appreciated. Happy to take questions, pictures attached.

Thank you in advance.

Try Albatross Marine, they'll have a better view, and maybe people queuing up for a project. Failing that put it on facebook marketplace, ebay or gumtree. Classic speed boat market is almost dead, and Albatross / Deltas around on the market are not moving - a newer generation lack the skills to restore, or prefer to spend their money elsewhere. Is compounded by the fact there are very few usable bodies of water to enjoy them these days.
