Boat Cover Breathable

Post by Peterbonsall »

Hi, Little Cinders "Penny Too" is having a make-over, to keep her looking new when stored outdoors/in use I'd like a good quality breathable cover. As previously only having non-wooden boats, are there any recommends for a good quality, kind to wood and varnish breathable 15ft covers ?? Cheers Peter

Saw this post on the 'Boats & Bits, Advice & Tips UK' on facebook, but worthwhile asking the 'Solent Boating' bunch on same site, or 'Active Hamble Boat Group', someone might be able to advise.

Good Morning, we had our last cover for the Poncelet % metre made by Penrose Sails of Penryn and Falmouth here in Cornwall. Canvas type waterproof and breathable with soft material inner pads at points vulnerable of contact with the boat. Was done in 2015 and cost somewhere 500-600 by memory. We took the boat to them for measuring once and cover made to fit without any alterations required. Kgarla :wot:
