Hi
The invites for the Cardiff event will go out to all members during the Spring, the invite will include details of camping at Cardiff Yacht Club as well as info on the weekend which can be booked when the invite is returned. So at this time apart from putting a date in your diary (Aug14,15 & 16) there is nothing to do.
There is basic camping at CYC in their car park adjacent to the club house, there is a grassed area for tents (bring gravel pegs) and hardstanding for campers and caravans, no hook up but we have use of the club changing rooms/showers etc. There is an elevated main road nearby which does give a bit of noise, as do the seagulls on occasion! There is nominal fee of £10 pitch for the weekend. There are some other campsites around Cardiff, again get in touch and I'll dig out some phone numbers. Usually we get around 15/18 pitches at CYC so there's a good atmosphere and it's adjacent to the clubhouse for the bar and breakfast Sat & Sun....hope that's enough...info, let us know if there is anything else you need to know at the moment...we look forward to meeting you at Cardiff.

The CYC is the place to be!! Great atmosphere but you may have the perpetual CMBA problem of falling in with bad company in the evening & then feeling a bit the worse for wear the next day!
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!
