Part of my family legacy - speedboat racing on the Liffey. Boxing day 1963.

My father in his first Toby, the 15 footer with we think a Scott 45hp - quite sensible compared with what he ended up with!

Strangely most of the photos of the race do not feature my father - mother (who took the photos) always said it was because his was so fast she could not get a good shot - he seemed happy with that excuse!
