I went to Windermere when last years rally was on, stayed at Hill of Oaks, very nice and friendly.
Anyway most land is N/Park or private. So only a few dedicated places to land.
It's very commercialised with floating buses everywhere.
So one has to ask, if we want to go fast, and I did, why pay good money to look over our shoulder for wardens, when Lomond Is three hours further away?

Yes I read that, quite extraordinary the amount it cost him. How on earth can it warrant a fine of £1175.00 (inc. costs) for such a minor infringement. Its all gone mad here in England.
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!

Not only mad, but brainwashed and beaten into submission. Seen from my foreign cultural view it's even more bizarre....
Fasten bra straps and remove dentures...

I would have to fight that further its complete madness,he must of had a lawyer surely.
i have had a recent fight with Lambeth council over stopping on my lawful crossover at work. This was the second time.
The first time the fine was cancelled ,this time they were determined to make a nightmare of it.
I wasnt happy with my legal advice so did it my way and won.
I sent this letter to the leader of the council, its on the page one of this link.made me laugh when i read it but hey ho it worked. :woo:
