Had trailer serviced today, 4 new brake cables and one new sealed bearing replaced. Not bad really, these totally sealed bearings seam like a good idea no adjustment or greasing just fit with some descent grease and forget for a year or two although I always have my trailers serviced annually especially when you consider I can Launch and recover boat without taking trailer on the road to dry the brakes out etc.

Interesting point my engineer pointed out we should leave the trailer with the brakes off and wheels chocked so that the brake linings don't stick to the drums and when we move the trailer the brakes release and can leave some of the brake lining stuck to the drum!!! I have never had that problem but I will take good advice.

Really happy now ready for Loch Lomond. :wot: :wot:
