That sounds like a good plan to me, get him down on the price and get your money back and still have the trailer, he may go for it if you are lucky, it is the same way I got my trailer, I bought a boat, kept the trailer and sold the boat and engine on for the same as I bought the whole lot for, result? FREE trailer! best of luck, Simon

The trailer does not look good in the pics. It may be ok for moving the boat around at home but to get it roadworthy may cost more than you could buy a good used one.

Everything is making me think quit now and look for something better sorry :(

Right, I think I will take this boat, but sell everything in it and scrap the hull. Lesson learnt.

And onto the next: Do any of these look any good to your expert eyes?

Take a look at the Driver if you fancy. Race pedigree. Will need at least 75hp to make it go nicely.

One is a common Fletcher, can be had nice for little money. 2 is an early 60s Microplas (Microplus), fairly common, but seldom in good condition, lots of work to make nice, but flat bottomed. 4 is a Loftus Bennet I think, I have a dislike of these cruisers, just look like a fishing boat.

Thanks Rapier. I might go and have a look at the Driver.

After a phone call with the eBay seller of the Saturn, I got him to reduce the price £30 because of the screen So its £116 for the boat, trailer and the seats. :)

Just found this in the seller's completed listing, and I think it came off the boat.

Unfortunately a non runner due to 'no spark'. Is this easy to fix? If so I might be able to bargain it off him :)
