CMBA Thames trip Sat 19th May. Would seem to be a good day for an 'official' launch.
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!

Batteries have arrived, 8 x 6v 100ah... that should give me some battery life :-) lol
Motor and all other electric on order... woo hooo.. all i have to do now is work out how to install it... lmao

Anyone have a educated guess at what year/decade the Hoffman is?

I use a variety. Jotun single or this is skippers 2 pack. The varnish doesn't matter. It needs sanded, and finally, 2000 wetndry, then polish. I use 3m fast cut. I'm no expert, and I'm only a novice. But have a great teacher. I think the results are quite good.
