World record holding hydroplane

I am buying a hillman imp engine from a mate . The engine was his spare. He also has the hydroplane built in 1978 for sale with a imp engine in it ready to go. This boat and engine holds the world speed record for the 1 litre class. The record held is 99.445 mph. He has talked about breaking the lot which i think would be a terrible shame.
