Did you mean 20hp rather? If so, will fit 7.5hp (75), 9.8hp (110) and 20hp (200) Mercs only.

No it’s definitely 35hp...

I have a 20hp on the boat. That’s why it’s now for sale.

As you probably know the 35hp operates the gears in the opposite direction to the 20hp. Only pulling them apart can revel which is which. I had to buy a 20hp to find out!

I’d just like it to go to somebody who can make use if it.

OK, remembered you had a 20hp. The box is for a 35hp and above then - will fit all 2, 3 and 4 cylinder till '89. I've got too many of them, but am sure someone will need it.

Oh heck Nick! I was sure you told me it was 30hp. It’s so long ago I had forgotten your advice! Yes it’s 35hp.

The boat must have been a little beast with that in the back in the 1970’s. Seemingly on the sea in North Wales as advised by the son of the previous owner. He said it scared him witless, as a kid. Two people can pick up the basic empty boat.
