Re: Mercruiser 120hp oil pan required.

I got one thanks... usual speel; £40 odd quid on e-bay from the US. Add postage and it was owing me over £100. I attacked it with a wire brush and then set about it with Hammerite. Looks great and does the job. Thanks for your interest.

Temperature sender

Boat Insurance

I have just been informed by my insurer that they will no longer offer marine insurance. My insurance is due for renewal on the 14th July. Can anyone advise me of an appropriate company to approach for a quote? My boat is 50 years old and I am not going to get it surveyed for insurance purposes as m...

Re: Forum v Facebook

To me, the forum is a far more "acceptable" place to talk all things boaty. I lament the fact the forum seems to be withering. I'm going to post a question today on both the forum and facepage - I need advice quick bout boat insurance. I hope I get some response to restore my faith in what is a grea...

Re: Mercruiser 120hp oil pan required.

I've been in that world for over 10 years... I've just replaced the sterndrive, ran it up to temperature prior to launch and noticed the oil in the bilges.

Mercruiser 120hp oil pan required.

I'm trying to source an oil pan / sump for a 120hp Mercruiser (circa 1968 vintage). Can anyone steer me to where one may be lurking? Many thanks.

Mercruiser "R" type leg.

I'm looking for an Mercruiser "R" type leg - 120 hp.
Mine has seized and has been announced as "scrap". It is over 50 years old and I know I was on borrowed time.
Can anyone steer me as to where I may get one?
Many thanks!
