Re: Aluminium windscreen frames
Did you ever find anybody to make the frame and screen please? Trying to have a frame and screen made at a sensible price for my restoration has stopped the job for a couple of years, plus life getting in the way. I can’t finish my deck until I have this solved, as I would probably damage the deck i...

Re: A bit of history
Thanks for posting those. Reallly enjoyed them. I lived about as far from water as you could get in any direction when these early clips were made and boats were just another world. But would have watched the clips in envy from the back seats of the Odean in the day. Probably to be honest more inter...

Re: Bluebird K3 successful 2 days with CMBA support
An absolutely amazing achievement and the Club team who have been involved in this should be justifiably proud of what they have done here. Really well done and congratulations. It was wonderful to watch that short video clip...engine sound could have been louder! Don't we all love the loud close up...

Re: Rebuild Started - Wooden Runabout
Yesterday I put a tiller arm on my engine, to test it and then run it in a friends boat, Having posted a request for info on fuel lines, tanks etc, I now have that resolved by the kind attention of a club memeber. This club never fails me so thanks. This has prompted me to do another post as last ye...

1975 Mercury 20 hp - fuel line query
I tried the fuel line connector I have today and it's leaking from the where it's plugged into the engine unit. I am using it at the moment on a rig - gravity fed from a bottle - to run up the motor in a tub. I need to buy a new complete fuel feed line, connectors, piping, primer bulb & tank. Is the...

Re: Has anybody noticed a distinct slowing down on forum?
I started the thread because I was concerned about the site faultering. Whilst my rebuild is currently on hold pending the full restoration of my house including a garege to finish the boat, I go on most days and would not have got as far as I have with my boat without the help provided through this...

Winter Storage and occasional running
I posted this in Antique Engine section and didn't get a response - though t it might be in the wrong place so added here. I have a 1975 Mercury 200. I have just got it back from a full check and service including a new impeller. We have test run the engine up in a tank and it's very sweet, starts w...
