The Albatross meeting on the Broads this weekend just gone was a great success, with a large number of people and boats.

A big thank you to John Fildes who, as usual, worked tirelessly throughout.

Bizarrely, also try changing the rotor arm in the distributor. we had some problems early on (1979?) with power intermittently dropping off in the Climax, and after much head-scratching and trying different, a fresh rotor arm solved it. The old one had a tiny crack not immediately obvious. Can't exp...

I always go for Optima gel batteries, expensive but not prone to damage or leakage.
