I have a either 13 inch bronze or an ali prop, also 2 of 12 inch and 2 of 11 inch, you could borrow to test.

cleaned it a bit more and found these No's 817411 3191
So you were all right, (10 points each) it is a 9 amp Rectifier (Now there's an idea for the magazine?)

WANTED
Stator (part No 398-1455) that fits under the fly wheel for early 1960's Mercury 450
also the Ratchet (Part No 50-25263) that bolts to the top of the fly wheel, if you can help or know where I can get these, it would be much appreciated.

Has any one got any plans to to go out boating to replace the TTBR W/E, as we have booked the time off, it's a shame to waste it.
