Re: Boat Wanted

Hi You could do worse than have a chat with the owner of Holy Loch Brokerage at Sandbank, Tony Richards. He restored an Albatross and although I believe he sold it recently, he may know of others available in the area. I spend quite a lot of time at Strachur on Loch Fyne and intend to bring my Centu...

Re: Itchin and Scratchin run

Hello Grant

There's always a bit of space for you on my old boat. Andy wise is coming along but that leaves two of the best seats available.

Re: Fabulous Falmouth 2011

We had a special weekend at the Falmouth Rally, so many thanks to all who put the effort in to making it such a great event. This year we managed to get out and about in the boats :wot: about despite plenty of wind and waves and have developed a kind of sea salt and sun complexion. ;) I k...

Re: Boat Flooring

Thanks for advice. :perfect: I will check it out. I hadn't thought of Amtico but now you've brought the subject up I have walked on some wood effect Amtico and it was very like wood. :notworthy: I had been thinking of 'decksole' but I think the white or black pseudo calking lines would clash with th...

Boat Flooring

Hi I would like to replace the floor covering in my 1961 Century Resorter. Currently it is marine ply covered with non-slip vinyl which gets dirty as soon as you go near the boat and looks dingy. I would like to know what alternatives there are and any good sources of supply you may have used. regar...

Varnish Repairs

Hi My 1961 Century Resorter has had some cracking to the varnish between the hull planking since I bought it. These boats are single planked construction and as the boat bounces about through waves the planks move and open up a little, causing the cracks. Through use this cracking has grown and I am...

Re: dateline bounty inboard

Hi David

Martin Overall has had what I think is an early one of these for quite a while. I saw it when he took it to Loch Lomond and it is a very usefull boat (in my humble opinion) easy to get in and out of, plenty of easy to use space and goes very well.

Hope this helps
