BroomBroom, how did you make your boat cradle? Was it just one horizontal piece of wood, with two small vertical ones and carpet stretched in between? Like this? |______| Knocked up something that approximated to the shape of the hull from a few bits of lumber left over from building the 'boat shed...

Thanks for the update! May I make a suggestion? I would look into removing the whole deck section... You'll have to have a look, but on mine the top moulding was primarily fitted to the bottom via the rivets that hold the rubbing strake on (and a few others here and there). Drill all these out and s...
