Wanted boat steering system ideally with wooden wheel

I am trying to find a classic style cable boat steering system for a 12ft 1950s wooden boat. I know there was one for sale a while back on the forum but i can't find the link anymore. I currently have a rather manky old black steering wheel that has no boss and it is the last part i need for my rest...

Re: Chase Waterpark, West Midlands

I would be interested in coming along too, i could do with a trip out that does not involve keeping to a 4mph speedlimit near the house. I miss the seaside!

I had the same problem on that site, ie i was told i was banned. Maybe they have a clever system that filters users from cmba.

Re: Trying to find some history!

I will be stripping the timber right back (external and internal so to speak) over the winter and re-upholstering her...

Wow thanks for that i was not expecting such a prompt reply. I will take some photos over the weekend as i am currently doing some work to her and she is in no fit state to be seen in public. At least i now what she is now, i was a tad gutted to find she was not a broom but we love her all the same....

Trying to find some history!

Dear All Greetings to you all from a new member. seaswirl web.JPG Last year i brought this little beauty/horror from fleabay and i have been slowly doing bits and pieces to her. I was told at the time of collection that the boat was believed to be 1960 (ish) and by the look of her she has had a few ...
