Re: electronic ignition..
RE your no spark problem - since you have redone the wiring and kill switch I suggest you make sure that you have the 12 v "ignition" feed to the + of the coil and then that the other side of the coil goes to the points and hence to earth when the points are closed - don't leave it one with the poin...

Re: electronic ignition..
That appears to be identical to the Powerspark - but much more expensive

Re: electronic ignition..
My apologies! The system I have in mine is Powerspark (not Accuspark) which is the same are Alacrity refers but by another name. To be fair through, the "electronic box of tricks" is all contained in the block which goes in the distributor and replaces the points. There are four magnets in the ring ...

Re: electronic ignition..
Try Accuspark, this has a magnetic sensor which fits where the points go and a ring which slips over the shaft. Works fine on my 100E Wiring is simple although you might find that an electronic rev counter might object. I've also tried Lumenition but it may be difficult to get it to fit the 100E dis...

Re: Wiring a small swich panel
Suggest that you include in line fuses between each switch and the respective load.
This will protect each circuit and avoid losing the lot in case of a short on the pump or lamp.

Re: That sinking feeling
For what it's worth, I've done a lot of prep work to use their ask aluminium/aluminium rivets. Please an order for loads yesterday, which was accepted by their system, good apparently in stock. Got a mail this morning saying that they no longer sell them. No good words to describe this. Had a good m...

Re: Albatross water leak
The panel may well have a mastic or similar seal applied as well. The screws are self tapping and can be a problem to get out. It's not unusual to have a small hole in the bulkhead near the hull bottom to allow any water to leak out (and matching ones in the other bulkheads) so that the water can dr...

A series items
Hello,
I'm looking to copy and/or acquire a prop shaft for an A series running a 1600 crossflow. Even a bent one would guide me to make one. What have you?
Also a propellor suitable for the same.
No rush - ongoing project.
Thanks
