Just had a quote from my current insurer; boat + trailer + dinghy = total insured £11,000.
Fully comp; annual premium of £160. I'm happy.
PM me if anyone needs the contact details.
Happy boating everyone!

Re: Insurance
Thanks all - Navigators and General would only quote third party. GJW wouldn't quote because of the age of the boat. My current insurer is preparing a quote for me. I'll see what they come up with - because I had the boat for sale online 3 years ago, they are unwilling to insure it for more than the...
Insurance
I'm looking for a company to insure my 1968 Broom Pisces. I want fully comprehensive and I'm not going to get the boat surveyed for the insurance company! Any suggestions? I've tried CETA and the usual suspects and I get all the way through the online process only to be told at the end; "Due to the ...

Ready for the season...
Finally ready for the season! A new trailer and a new paint job on the hull. Not bad for a 49 year old tub. All we need now is some sun. http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r162/yanyan1960/IMG_0219_zpsfihmuslt.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r162/yanyan1960/IMG_0223_zpsyy0vha4b.jpg http://i144...

Which New Prop?
Hello! I'm looking to replace the aluminium prop on my 1968 Mercruiser 120 h.p. sterndrive. I'm sure it's the "cooking" prop that I have on it at the moment - it's too corroded to get any numbers off it, so I'm after suggestions of where to go (on the internet) for the best advice (apart from on her...

Re: Glastron Carlson CV 19 SS (1974)
It's been a while... I'm now getting ready to start the refurbishment in earnest. I need to get the boat re-painted in the metal-flake paint (an old english white for the hull). Does anyone know of a yard that has experience with painting using metal-flake? I've been on many USA websites / forums an...

Lightning fast now. Very well done to the "fixers".

Re: Glastron CV19; re-engine.
Hello Solitaire, Very many thanks for your comprehensive reply. I won't be able to access the numbers your requested for a while as I can't get to the yard for some time yet. I attach a few pictures of the engine - not that you'll be able to tell anything from them - but mainly for interest. I got a...
