Re: Chase Waterpark, West Midlands

extra costs?? 20 boats = £ 25 25 boats = £ 20 30 boats = £ 17 35 boats = £ 15 40 boats = £ 13 Didn't we all pay £20 a day for three hours running at Stewartby recently. Surely with 20 boats and 10 allowed on the lake at any one time we'd all get three or fours running time on the day? Don't know ab...

Re: those stupid trailer bearings

I'm very fortunate in so much as my bearings, and hubs obviously, are Vauxhall. Even with the better seal arrangement they still need replacing every season though but at under a fiver a wheel complete its really no hardship. I tend to carry a spare hub ready to fit on longer journeys, just in case,...

It will be not only his maiden solo voyage but also the first time his other half has ventured into a boat with him since he almost hammered her through the hull of a previous craft when the mast broke an...

Re: Itchin and Scratchin run - May 24th

I think I may have to work really really hard to cancel a previous engagement ....... 73Miss will need a support boat to tow him home and it'd be a shame to miss the opportunity :D Just remembered something - yesterday I left my Delta 160 miles east of here. Guess I'd better collect it right quick!

Re: Delta woes but still smiling :-)

Somebody forgot to mention that within 150 yards of his first trip in 16 years he was also pulled over by the river police (blue flashing light and everything) and reminded that there was a speed limit of 6mph in force. Of course Andy thought they were offering a challenge and spent the following se...
