Sorry to hear this news, I reckon it would have been a great turnout. We had 8 - 10 boats confirmed for our display so yes, it would have been a great display & a good social. Very disappointing. Ok so answering my own question here but at least it may be of use to someone else. I just spoke to Duncan Walker about getting a key for my Mercontrol so took the opportunity to ask him. He informed me there are 12 poles on a 1979 Merc 80 so I will set the tacho switch to 12 and see how it perform...

I have found a low mileage Volvo B18 engine, anyone got a heat exchange manifold and water pump for one ? We use the merc one on the race boat that se7en is recommending. Nice bit of kit, just unscrew and screw on a new filter when required, job done. Its fitted between the tank and bulb.
I think the one you are looking at is glass ! I don't think the scrutineers would like that.

Hi padrag, the delta V6 I used to own was also was a steamer! on tic over and WOT.......also ran cold, but was never a problem.

We run at 50.1 we have also started the last two seasons with the fuel from the previous season........no probs, on the button never missed a beat.
