Re: Thames Traditional Boat Rally - CANCELLED

Sorry to hear this news, I reckon it would have been a great turnout. We had 8 - 10 boats confirmed for our display so yes, it would have been a great display & a good social. Very disappointing. It's looking like 2012 will go down in history as the year with the most cancelled events & the worst w...

Re: How many poles on 80HP merc

Ok so answering my own question here but at least it may be of use to someone else. I just spoke to Duncan Walker about getting a key for my Mercontrol so took the opportunity to ask him. He informed me there are 12 poles on a 1979 Merc 80 so I will set the tacho switch to 12 and see how it perform...

Re: marinizing an engine

Re: Outboard inline filter

We use the merc one on the race boat that se7en is recommending. Nice bit of kit, just unscrew and screw on a new filter when required, job done. Its fitted between the tank and bulb.
I think the one you are looking at is glass ! I don't think the scrutineers would like that.

Re: Itchin and Scratchin run

Hi Dakota, sorry to read about the prop damage :grrr: Steel Developments 240 Merton road, London. 02088747059 I used them a few years back, had good service at a fair price. Might be worth a call for a quote.
