Penta AQ110/100
So we now have an AQ110 B18 block engine in bits needing plenty of work, plus the 100 drive it seems is seized...need to look into that further. But the assumed seized engine is now turning out the boat and the drive is not. If anybody is good with these units I would welcome hearing from them for g...

Re: Has anybody noticed a distinct slowing down on forum?
The site does seem slow, but then again our broadband here is so poor it is not noticably slower than anything else! More to the point, I would add that I echo the view that few use the site now. Re: Choke solenoid for Fastwin 18 WANTED
Thanks, I will keep looking............it is odd to have gone short circuit, my experience of solenoids is usually open circuit/not working at all. Testing proved the choke solenoid seems to have gone short circ...

Help regarding diode selction?
Does anybody have a better understanding of diodes than I, I need to select one to prevent flow back up to ignition circuit whilst wiring in an engine shutdown system linked to a fire extinguisher. 12volt (usual 14V ish engines running) known current draw about 1.0 amp for stop solenoid only. The ci...

Re: Levi
On the basis Mrs petrolhead is likely to let her Delta nymph go along with my own "tidy up" maybe I ought to divulge the thought to turn our lounge with convenient large patio door entry into a boat park we had of course seen Lean II in the flesh beforehand which was our downfall perhaps.

Re: Levi
Ta..........well chuffed we all are. We need to clear a bit of stuff out, then a move to Surrey although we are hopeful that perhaps she can also spend time in the museum as well as outings............of course the biggest stumbling block being she is on the Island and the mad cost of moving it by r...
