Stuart Turner Pump
Hi all,
I have finally managed to buy a new old stock Stuart Turner No. 10 pump for my Albatross (like rocking horse sh*t!). When I tested it, it wouldn't self-prime, is this normal? does it need boat movement to push water up the little inlet scoop?
Can anyone help please?

Re: Windermere - going from bad to worse?
The whole thing's pathetic and hypocritical! The originally stated aim was to reduce the wash from powerboats...have you seen the ruddy great things in the marina? Sunseeker types with twin engines and radar - on Windermere for goodness sake! An Albatross at 30 knots makes barely a ripple whereas a ...

Re: Twin SU Manifold for ford crossflow
Yes Chris, I noticed that on Mondora when I took photos of her at Windermere a couple of years back. The Climax engined boats seem to manage with twin SUs OK though!

Re: Twin SU Manifold for ford crossflow
I've already thought of that!
No "headroom" in an Albatross bay for downdraught carbs - I have a lovely pair of dellortos (jetted for a crossflow) but I don't think there's room for them either!
