Colvic Speedster
Hello Everyone, I just thought I'd post a couple of photos of my project. I have been told it is a Colvic although there is no makers plate anywhere. It is about 15 foot long, glass fibre construction. It was in a fairly poor state but I am getting closer to the water! I would love to get it on the ...

Re: Wanted Short Shaft outboard Motor
Hi,
The outboard will be for My Colvic, which is about 15 foot long with a shallow draft.
I would be happy with an engine from 25- 75 Hp depending on what's available.
Any advice always welcome.
Cheers

Can you tell me if it is a short or long shaft motor?
Also is it pull or electric start and is it set up for remote control or tiller?
Cheers

Hi Solitaire, I am looking for an outboard 15-50 Hp Short shaft. I want remote operation for gears and throttle. I would prefer electric start but would consider pull start. Are any of your engines suitable in your collection? The boat I have is 15 foot Colvic from the early sixties. Cheers Zen

Re: Wanted Outboard Motor.
Hi Reidy,
Thanks for the info. Did you ever run it on the other boat?
I see you've run it on Muffs, have you got any paperwork with it? Operators manual or any receipts?
It has got remote controls for Gears and throttle.
Oh yes any idea of the Model number/year.
Cheers

Re: 1966 Mercury 350M for sale
Hi,
Just a few quick questions.
Is this still for sale?
Can you connect remote controls such as throttle , gear change etc.
I realise it is not electric but pull start.
Cheers

Re: Chrysler 45Hp Outboard
Hi Rapier. Thank you so much for your information. I do not have great marine knowledge but rather enthusiasm and endeavour! I am currently stripping off paint and making minor repairs in the glassfibre. I do have an expert in that helping me. I am going to replace the pulley steering system with a ...
