Re: Merc Tacho, A WEE REMINDER!!
I have a neat little digital tach on a board...somewhere...if I can find it!
And I think I did promise to bring it to Cardiff.![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif)

Re: Delta prop
My firm can supply a new 9x10 LH bronze prop with a standard taper, these are individually made from a pattern taken from an original Delta 2-blade prop which Ray had. For info, we also have the original pattern for the 3-blade V6 prop. The engine hatch hinges, assuming they're the tapered chrome on...

Re: Merc 115 problem
For what it's worth... For my racing Yahaha 70, developing about 90hp and burning 5 litres of fuel in a 10-minute race, a 5/16" fuel line that actually had a a 1/4" element at the tank connection was never a problem. My guess is that the Merc wouldn't need anywhere near this kind of flow rate, so ho...

Re: Albatross rear subframe
Bit late on this one, sorry about that... If you study the construction of the 'Aft Subframe', you'll realise that it offers more stiffness fore & aft than it does across the beam. At the P-Bracket, most of the loads are acrossways, and it's thought that this is one reason that hulls often crack in ...

Re: Low Freeboard Fenders ( Taylor Made )
Rod, you could always send me some straps/neddle & thread :D or bring your sewing machine to Cardiff :D :D :wot: In a nutshell....NO! We had a guy show up this week with a folding caravan, a zip was coming unstitched. He couldn't take the canvas sides off the van, so we had to carry a machine...

Re: Low Freeboard Fenders ( Taylor Made )
For those who have boats too high for the 'regular' fenders, there do exist Giant versions, I have some samples that Taylor Made sent when we bought the first batch years ago - not cheap, though! As to straps, we can still do our patented (!) press stud/adjustable straps in lots of colours, a fiver ...

LATEST: Cholmondeley Pageant of Power - 18/19 July
Hi Guys - and thanks to those who've been in touch and are prepared to support our Association by bringing their boats along for the display. It seems that most people who attended last year have been put off by their experience - I'm doing all I can to make sure that what we get is what we expect,...

Insurance - Is Third Party Possible?
I just had my annual renewal come through from GJW for later this month and, like others, I reckon it's a bit steep. There was a lot of discussion a few months ago - did anyone find a better alternative? Realistically, all we need is Third Party cover, to keep venues etc happy. There used to be a go...
