Re: Trailer Refurbishment

another suggestion:
First - get any grease off with a chemical degreasing agent, then use Mordant solution (available from a commercial paint/decorator supplier). This turns the galvanised surface black and etched clean ready for primer etc. Use good quality products.
Worked for me on some mudguards.

Re: Trailer axle

For what it's worth about 40 years ago I had a Snipe trailer with the said springs. The bearing was held on by a circlip. Driving down the A1 one day I saw a wheel coming past me. The wheel was mine, had hit something and bounced the circlip off leaving the bearing free to pop off at the next opport...

Bow lamp - offers?

Hello,
Surplus to requirements, red lens is almost complete, green not there (i was planning to make a copy).
The base of the fixing recess has gone but I've made a collar which works.
No reasonable offer refused.

80's rocker switch needed

Anybody happen to know where I might be able to get a replacement switch or even the actuator rocker?
The hole size seems to be 2 inches by 7/8 inches.
Many modern switches are correct width but much shorter.
Rating 12 volts and a few amps.
Thanks

For example using the 2:1 and starting with about 320 ml, the extra "1" added only about 1...
