Marinised E93A engine

I have an E93A engine (the 8hp version, I am fairly sure) that is marinised and that has a small FNR gearbox attached that looks like a car version with 2nd and 3rd gears disabled. The unit seams to turnover well and I think that it should run, from what I have seen so far. I see that parts are fair...

Re: Anchorage Sportsman - Considering Selling

Hi Tim

Please can you let me know how long the boat is (LOA) and the max width so that I can work out if I can get it into my garage?

Thanks

windscreen

Just a note to say that I have had a nice screen made for my Moonfleet by Gary of Littleport Boat Haven http://www.littleportboathaven.co.uk/boat%20windscreens.htm Gary has a mould for a classic runabout screen (used to make mine) and a few other moulds as well. Mine is 52 inches wide at the widest ...

Re: Stern tube is moving

Stern tube is moving

Hi I have been chasing down a problem that appeared to be a loose stuffing box but I have noticed that the stern tube that it is clamped to is slightly loose and can twist round a bit, taking the stuffing box with it, at higher revs and in choppier conditions. I have realigned the engine and reduced...

broken P bracket, needs fixing

Hi, after returning from testing my moonfleet conquest for the first time on windermere I notice that the P Bracket has snapped with part of it left hanging off the prop shaft and the other half bolted to the hull. We did not notice any problem at all during the test (over two hours at up to 2500 re...

Re: Cross Flow engines

Hi I have a 1600 crossflow that was marinised and supplied by OMC originally, I believe, for a stern drive system. I bought it for my moonfleet project and have had it running and have tested the compression, which is fine on all four cyls (205-220). I have decided in the end to fit a watamota one t...
