Already on it :thumbsup: easier to reduce shaft length than add! Looks like the crossflow bell housing is deeper than the old Consul one the normal gap will allow some thrust on the flex mounts and room for a prop puller. I will re-profile the rudder to make it better balanced and less like a paddle...

I have been installing and building bigger boats with shafts for years and normal distance is about 15-25mm to reduce any run out - 3" seems alot ...
