Hi, not sure if 2013 calendar is finalised but how about a weekend meet at York? The club has visited before, however this was only a day meet, long way for some of the members. I would say it's 8'6" ? plenty big. just watch that dpc andy. As your not doing cavity you will need a couple of pillars in there too. good luck.

Pinto fits fine, used simmonds own heat exchangers and made a water-cooled manifold. Drive is car clutch with coupling made to prop shaft. All very easy to do.

Hi Geoff, was going to say on the phone yesterday, if it still keeps playing up disconnect the charge lead from dynamo, run on straight battery power, take a spare batt and charger to swap over.

If the coil over heats it usually splutters to a halt and won't start till it cools down. Have you checked your fuel line and filter?

Hi Andy, got home and found a ballast in my spares!, could have fitted and tried. anyhow the ceramic one is a transit, Austin, triumph etc and will be fine. any 1.6 ohm will do. if you then have probs starting take a live from starter motor, (the small spade or round pin on starter solenoid) to coil...

they look good just sat in the water, nice sea or lake boat. floors and transoms rot, replaced mine, deck stringers can crack and need reinforcing, which I have done.
mine has a strong 65 evinrude, makes around 40 mph and gets up on plane very easy.
