Re: Shakespeare Ford Essex V6
you would need to move a serious amount of air - so quite a few horsepower for a proper fan and some pretty big trunking - which ideally should not let water into the interior! Given the pp drive already supplies cooling water to the engine and the exchanger is a sensible size - what possible advant...

Re: Albatross Mark 3 fuel pump
My Mk3 has a standard SU electrical pump. I suspect that is the original choice as it fits rather neatly into the circular mount on the top of the fuel tank. There are SU's designed to suck (Morris Minor etc) and there are the best ones to use. Bonne chance

Outboard Collection
The time has come, the Walrus said. For many of my retirement projects to get a new home. Impending house move means that the projects 'waiting' in the shed have to go. So to any CMBA member who wants them - they are free, anything left I'll try fleabay. https://flic.kr/p/2mzfzqf Gale 3hp twin weedl...

Re: HERE IS A BIT OF AN ODDBALL ,HAVE YOU SEEN ONE?
I'll post a couple of pictures in a day or so ( just back from France so a few things to sort out). If it is the model you want when you see the photos - post some technical data here and you can have the engine for the cost of the carriage. Only downside is that I'm close to Aberdeen so that can be...

Re: HERE IS A BIT OF AN ODDBALL ,HAVE YOU SEEN ONE?
I have one - in the queue in the shed. Very common in Asia, the standard G30/50 mated to an outdrive, via a Vee belt with a friction lever. Strangely there are also quite a number in France! I was contacted by a serious 'old Honda' collector who specialised in the less common aspects of Honda in the...

Re: 1964 Evirude 40hp Big Twin
Thanks for the contact info. I have found some paint codes on the internet - but they seem to be OMC specific codes, so that then leads to various chandlers and others - who typically do not have it available! So the UK sources look to be a much better prospect. Of course that still leaves a lot to ...
