Based from Lake Yard Marina in Poole this popular rally offers two days of relaxed cruising in and around Poole harbour. Members often meet earlier if travelling down on the Friday night and enjoy a meal in the marina restaurant. There are limited spaces available on site for camper van parking and these can be booked along with your boat entry.

Itinerary

• Saturday - Arrival from 9:00am, launch your boat via hoist at Lake Yard Marina. 11:00am set off for a cruise around Brownsea island within Poole harbour, stop at Poole Quay for an ice cream or lunch and leisurely return to Lake Yard.
• Sunday - Take a trip up the Wareham river and stop for lunch at one of the pubs. You then have the afternoon available for free boating before recovering for the journey home.

Event Classification

CHALLENGING – An event normally held at sea, where tides, strong tidal flow/currents and rough water may be experienced. In the event of an emergency/breakdown assistance WILL be required – either emergency services or CMBA colleagues, as severe damage/injury may occur. NOT SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS or inexperienced family members. RYA level 2 Powerboat certification strongly recommended. Confidence in your boat/engine(s) reliability is essential. Not suitable for untried boats/engines.
