Power loss on the Itchen explained
Whilst flushing the merc 115 this afternoon the reason Sunday's loss of power was found. No. 2 cylinder coil wire had fallen off the switch box - I found all the other connections on that switch box (it has 2) loose as well. Still, 48mph on 5 cylinders isn't that bad
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!

cool, lets see what it does on 6 pots and clean water!...Cardiff bay is not big enough
