Have you got a manual with it? If not, this is fairly comprehensive and useful if you like to play with the bottom-shelf motors - they also do a Volume 1, sub 30hp manual..See you've obviously had problems finding an ignition system .

Hi,
yes I've have a workshop manual and a parts book, just got the engine to run to get a feel of it; found it starts easy hot or cold, so I will service it and repair it more in depth over this winter. has any one got a spare set of Scott control cables, before I start to make brackets so I can use my omc cables?

Check with ask-a-member on the AOMCI board - they're knowledgeable...Suspect may be Teleflex/Morse like many of the late 50s/60s lower shelf manufacturers, in which case needs a generic box and cables, with special ends.
