Fogging oil now done

Post by Mr Kenny »

Fogged the out board today as this was the last time it will run till warmer weather is here, it didn't take long and very easy to do but how many people bother at all, I also drained the fuel from the carb and the diaphragm pump don't want it going to jelly and blocking the jets up. I was only at the slipway for about 20 Min's total, would have done it at home but pipe was frozen Lol. Looking forwards to getting back out on the water, roll on summer  :wot:

I hope the slip went down into fresh water! You don't want to overwinter it with salt in it - should be flushed for at least 1/2 hr after any salt use if you want it to last. :perfect:

A very good point it is a tidel river it was nearly low tide with a lot of rain water flowing out so hope it was fairly fresh water thanks for a very good pointer, norm flushed after each use with a hose. :hmmm:
