Preparing an aluminium hull for painting

I've now reached the point where I need to start work restoring the hull on my Continental.
I've pressure washed the inside to get all the crud out, however it's still oily/greasy.
And I want to get back to good bare material inside and ouside) and work from there.
I have seen recommendations for soda blasting and I'm happy to go that way.
I also know that some people use a simple, low pressure sand blaster and also that Millars also say that Arichifine grit is good for aluminium when used at low pressure.
So what's best guys?

I looked into this a bit when I wanted to strip an outboard and I went for vapour blasting it's perfect for the job and leaves an etched finish that you can paint the etching primer straight on to, try and get it primed as soon as you can after blasting and keep your hands off the bare aluminium as even the sweat on them can affect the finish.
