How far can an Albatross go

Post by vapor »

Currently dealing with a coolant problem (see in section engine room) I ask a simple question. How far per trip would an Albatross normally drive (in my case an Albatross MKIII). I assume modern boats can go as long as the petrol lasts but older boats as delicate and filigrane as an Albatross and still remarkably fast should probably not drive longer than half an hour or so. Or am I too anxious? I just think my coolant problem may have been caused by a 2 hours drive on the same afternoon.

It should run until the tank runs dry.
Mercs are like women, no 2 are exactly alike. That's what testing is about. In general it is safer to test motors and props than women!
