Ali rivets wanted

Post by Jaguar »

I'm making a new engine cover, fitting new water tanks and possibly removing/replacing the engine bay lower skin on a A series Albatross hull. I'm after 90 deg CSK head 3/16" Dia rivets 3/8" long x 140 off, 7/16" long x 450 off, 1/2" long x 750 off. I have had a quote from Sapphire products but was just wondering if there are any other supplier's or left over quantities in someones garage looking for a good home!

You could try Namrick in Portslade
Growing up is optional...

Better still do what I did - get in touch with the maintenance engineers at your local airport - they will not only get you the rivets but bang 'em in!!

Hi, yes I know the original rivets were 100 deg but i have a few 90deg ones left from a previous job and the counter sink tool's to suit. Just thought i'd try to use up what I had already !but thanks anyway
